July 28 was Collage Day at CareLink. Over 20 individuals involved in CareLink’s residential services enjoyed a morning of creativity and comradery. The Collage workshop was led by artists Linda and Hanna Christiansen of Silly Nut/L. Christiansen & Company. The group worked on the theme “Fun in the Sun” and incorporated photos, sand, sea shells, feathers and the like into each individual’s creation. All of the workshop participants thoroughly enjoyed the creative experience and look forward to future workshops. Many of the Collages will be exhibited at an Art Show this fall. This Collage workshop was supported in part by the PA Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of PA and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
